Artist's Description

The light on these kitchen condiment attracted my attention. The dark color bottle suggest this might be a vessel for blocking UV light and for protecting light from destroying the aged liquid inside. This found composition appeal to my creative eye.

About Harold E McCray

Harold E McCray

As a fine art photographer, I have found inspiration in the inner cities for many of my subjects. When traveling I like to capture an image that snatches my attention. My interest in the ordinary still intrigues me. I focus is on my immediate surroundings. There is beauty all around us--whether evolved from nature or made by human effort. I appreciate the complex interweaving between the individual, society and environment. A few years ago, I have found myself managing City Farm Program for Baltimore City. So, now my psyche incorporates the pleasures of gardening. The two--photography and gardening--offer me rich outlets for my creativity. Will soon return to blogging: www.haroldemccray.com/ArtistInTheKitchen Images can be more...
